Personal Safety for BZ Women

As businesswomen and professionals, we attend networking and other public events during the day and at night. Interacting with strangers has always been a part of conducting business; however, this activity brings challenges in today’s world. Personal Safety is about being aware of surroundings and knowing what to do to protect yourself (especially when traveling alone). Our guest speaker for November is Marten Wind of Durham Community Services Crime Prevention. Join us for an eye-opening overview of safety issues facing women today. Do not be a victim of situations at gas stations, bank machines, parking lots, etc. Empower the women you know as well by inviting them to come with you to learn.
